Some of the best such sites are the following: the Baritú National Park, the Mitre Peninsula, the Sierra de las Quijadas National Park, Alero de Charcamata and the Volcán Copahue. I suggest you to visit as many as you can. These are some unique and breathtaking sights of Argentina, many of them being known by just a few tourists.

The Baritú National Park

Due to the fact that the Baritú National Park is quite hardly accessible, this protected area is considered a hidden natural wonder of the country. Situated in the province of Salta, it is a great place to visit. It is considered one of the least visited, yet one of the most beautiful national parks of the country. If you can still find your way up to the national park, take your time because it’s worth visiting.

The Mitre Peninsula

Located in the southern part of the country, the beautiful Mitre Peninsula is another hidden place to visit. It can be found in the province of Tierra del Fuego. The lack of roads isolated the peninsula from other parts of the region. Wild horses are running free, abandoned factories and ancient shipwrecks can be seen here. Sea lions can also be seen here. It is with no doubt a unique area of the country.

The Sierra de las Quijadas National Park

The astonishing Sierra de las Quijadas National Park is a breathtaking natural wonder of Argentina. It is characterized by the presence of reddish sandstone walls and deserted area, dinosaur fossils and petrified logs. There are local guides who present you the essential part of the park. This protected area is a unique hidden jewel of the country and a top destination for anyone.
