The Aconcagua Mountain

A world renowned mountain, the breathtaking Aconcagua is the highest of its kind in the Americas. As part of the Andes, the mountain can be found in Mendoza Province. Its highest peak is 6.960 m tall and it is a popular destination among climbers. It is important to mention that the best season to climb the mountain is between the 15th of December and the 31st of January. This mountain is undoubtedly one of the best natural jewels of the country.

The Iguazu Waterfalls

This unique attraction of Argentina is considered one of the world’s largest and best-known natural wonders. The breathtaking Iguazu Waterfalls is undoubtedly one of the top 5 must-see sights in Argentina. Situated on the border of Argentina and Brazil, the waterfalls are protected in a national park which attracts dozens of visitors every year. You can reach this fascinating World Heritage Site from the town of Puerto Iguazu.

The Perito Moreno Glacier

Located in the Los Glaciares National Park, the fantastic Perito Moreno Glacier is another must-see natural wonder of the country. It is considered the most beautiful of the national park’s glaciers. The immense glacier is one of the most photographed sites in the country. It is easily accessible from the town of El Calafate.

The Tierra del Fuego National Park

One of the most impressive national parks of Argentina, the Tierra del Fuego National Park is another important visitor attraction of the country. It is famous for its dramatic scenery and unique flora and fauna. Considered the world’s southernmost national park, it present forests, waterfalls, mountains and wonderful glaciers. It is absolutely a must-see attraction.

The Talampaya National Park  

Another national park of Argentina, the Talampaya National Park is a great place to visit. It was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is famous for its red rock formations and walls created by erosion. The canyon is a must-see site, especially for nature-lovers.
